Attendance
This one is both a pro and con depending on your crowd. Having your wedding over a holiday lets you maximize time with your loved ones, allowing for you to spend a whole week celebrating. But while more of your friends and family are probably able to take off work to travel to your wedding don’t be surprised if some guests may decline your invitation preferring to spend their holidays with their families.
Holiday Demand
But beyond attendance, holidays increase hotel and airfare rates. In addition, your preferred venue and vendors might not offer discounts or be available at all due to high demand.
