  • Use art as inspiration throughout your ceremony and reception. Choose your favorite painting or a series of paintings and use this color palette or patterns from it throughout your wedding. Whether that means that you use these as table runners, photo backdrops, or anything else, this will add a stunning touch to your wedding day. This trend is still gaining popularity, so you will be one of the first to do it at your spring 2020 wedding!
  • Ditch the pastel colors for spring and go for bold colors! Use bright yellows, deep purples, fuschias. Don’t be afraid to use color bravely throughout your wedding, whether it be in decor or in bridesmaids dresses.
  • Sustainability is in this season, and hopefully, will continue to stay in! Use sustainability throughout your wedding by reusing florals from your ceremony to your reception, using decor that you already own, or making your own decor! With florals, you can also choose in-season florals! This helps with lowering shipping throughout your wedding.
  • If sharing your own vows in front of everyone makes you nervous and you plan on doing traditional vows, think about exchanging private vows before the ceremony! This will create a special moment for you that you will always cherish. This can be done during your first look or if you don’t want a first look, you can do this on either side of a wall so you just hear the vows. Be sure to know an approximate headcount for your wedding so that when you ask about the number of guests the venue can hold, you know how that number matches up to your estimate! Be sure to ask what is included in the venue! Most venues include chairs, but some don’t. The same about tables is true.   • The biggest perk of having an indoor/outdoor wedding venue is having the safety net to move your wedding, ceremony, or cocktail hour inside in the case of a weather change. If you have your wedding at an all outdoor venue, you don’t have the option to move it inside in the case of bad weather. No one wants to plan their whole wedding outdoors for it to rain the entire day.

At our Dallas venue, catering is done by our exclusive caterer, Gil’s Elegant Catering. Gil’s is a phenomenal caterer that we know will make the food at your wedding or event as perfect as you have been imagining it being. They have so many options for great food to be served, as well as, packages for how it will be served to you and your guests!

We have four packages to choose from ranging from $60 to $82 per person. Through Gil’s, you can choose a silver buffet or a gold buffet; these are package options one and two, and are amazing choices if you are wanting a buffet. Package three is an action station package. This makes your guests have a more personalized food experience! Package four is a plated dinner!  If you don’t want your guests to have to do any work to get their food, a plated dinner is the best choice!

These all come with two passed canapés of your choosing during cocktail hour, coffee, and iced tea. The china, glassware, silverware, and napkins are also included in the cost per person! You won’t have to worry about any of the little things with our in-house, exclusive catering. Us and Gil’s Elegant Catering love being able to provide all of the details for your event.
